We understand that unforeseen circumstances or injuries are an unfortunate part of race preparation, and participants may look to transfer their registration in the spirit of helping the broader sporting community.
However, bib transfers may be exploited by bad actors to perpetrate scams and undermine the community experience on Strava.
We will review accounts offering race bib transfers, whether reported to us or otherwise identified by us, and take action based on our investigations. We will consider factors such as whether transfers are permitted by the event organizer while making our decision.
