How Do I Subscribe to Strava?

Learn how to subscribe to Strava through the website or mobile app, switch your billing cycle, and see which payment methods Strava currently accepts.

Strava subscriptions can be purchased through the Strava app or the Strava website. Athletes should avoid purchasing Strava subscriptions from unauthorized vendors or sharing their Strava login credentials.

Subscribe Through the Strava Website

  1. Make sure you're logged into the account you want to upgrade.

  2. Select the Subscribe button in the top right. If your account is eligible for a free trial, you'll see a Start Trial button instead.

  3. Follow the prompt to start your trial, or subscribe directly on the next page.

  4. Select More Billing Options to change your subscription length (monthly or annual).

  5. Enter your payment method and select the option to securely pay. If your account is eligible for a trial, we'll begin billing your payment method at the end of the free trial period unless you cancel before then.

Subscribe Through the Strava App

  1. Make sure you're logged into the account you want to upgrade.

  2. Depending on your account's eligibility, tap any button or prompt that says Subscribe Now or Start Free Trial.

  3. Open the You tab in the bottom navigation, tap the icon in the top right corner, then select Your Strava Subscription.

  4. Follow the prompt to start your trial, or subscribe directly on the next page.

  5. Tap More Billing Options to change your subscription length (monthly or annual).

  6. Enter your payment method and select the option to securely pay. If your account is eligible for a trial, we'll begin billing your payment method at the end of the free trial period unless you cancel before then.

If you're having trouble subscribing, refresh the page or close and reopen the Strava app. If the issue continues, contact our support team to confirm that Strava subscriptions are supported in your region.

You can pay for a Strava subscription with:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

  • Apple App Store and Google Play

  • Regional card networks (Cartes Bancaires, Elo)

  • Mobile wallets (GoPay, GCash)

  • Pay by bank (iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit, Pix)
