Turning on Live Segments from the Coros Mobile app

Once your Strava account is connected to your Coros device, you can open the Coros mobile app to turn on live segments.

    1. Select your device in the Coros app (ensure that your device is powered on and connected to the Coros mobile app).
    2. Toggle on Strava Live Segments.

If your segments are not being displayed in Coros, make sure that they are starred in Strava. Please note only 30 segments can be synced to Coros at a time, so you may need to unstar segments from the Strava app that you do not want to be synced to your device).

To remove a segment, you will need to remove the star from it on your Strava account.

Live Segments During an Activity

Live segments are only available for running and riding activities. To turn on live segments

    1. From your device, press the dial button and select Run or Bike.
    2. Scroll down, select the Strava Segments menu option, and ensure Segment Alerts are ON.
    3. Open the Segment List to view the segments currently synced to your device.
    4. Select a segment to see a list of competitors (Carrot, PR, KOM, and Wolf)
      • Select the competitor you wish to try to beat. This will be the time your watch will compare you against when you start that Segment.
    5. Go back to the Start screen and start your activity.

As you approach the Segment, your device will alert you that you and count down the distance until you reach it. Once you reach the start, your watch will alert you that the Segment is starting, including the competitor/time you are challenging and the pace required to beat the time. If you go off the Segment, your device will inform you that you are off the Segment, and the challenge will end.

During the Segment, a custom screen will display your time ahead or behind your goal time, current pace, and the distance remaining.

On your watch, you will also have a new screen to scroll to see a segment map to help you navigate. Due to the larger display, the map will include all of the other segment-specific data on DURA.

After completing the Segment, you will see if you beat your goal time (what time you hit and how far ahead or behind you were of your goal), and if it's a new PR. You can view details about any live segments from your device's Strava Live Segments section of the app.
