Strava syncs with Health Connect to send time, distance, and calorie data from GPS-based activities and to receive weight data. This integration is only available on the Strava Android app.
Before you begin, install the Health Connect app on your Android device and sign in with your preferred Google account.
Connect Strava to Health Connect
To connect your Strava account to Health Connect:
- Open the Strava app and tap the You tab.
- Tap the gear icon to open settings.
- Tap Manage Apps and Devices > Health Connect.
- Follow the prompts to connect your Health Connect account.
To confirm the connection, open the Health Connect app and navigate to App Permissions. You should see Strava listed under your connected apps.
Activities Not Syncing to Health Connect
If your activities aren't syncing to Health Connect:
- Open the Health Connect app and navigate to App Permissions > Strava.
- Tap Allow all to grant the required permissions.
- If your activity still hasn't synced to Google Health, try closing the Strava app and re-opening or refreshing your home feed.
