Android OS supported versions
Strava version 466 and later requires Android 8.0 or above. CyanogenMod and other nonstandard Android OS versions are not supported.
If your device can't run Android 8
The Strava app will no longer work on devices running Android 7 or earlier. If your device is no longer supported, you can still access Strava at strava.com in any browser, or log in to your account on a compatible device.

Known device issues
Some Android devices have known GPS or system issues that can affect Strava's recording. See our article, How to Fix Recording Issues on Huawei Phones, for more info. The following phones are not supported by the Strava mobile app:
Wiko Rainbow
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3
Samsung Galaxy Express 2
The following phones are known to experience issues where the OS cuts off the Strava app during recording:
Huawei Nova and Nova+
Huawei P8 and P8 Lite
Huawei G7 and G7 Plus
Huawei Mate 7, Mate S, Mate 8, and Mate 9
Huawei Honor 4C, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, and Honor 7
Huawei P9, P9 Plus, and P9 Lite
Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO login issues
Some Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones can't log into Strava or open the app without a system update. This affects a subset of devices running outdated software. Xiaomi released a fix for this issue starting with HyperOS 3.
How to fix it
Update your phone's software. Go to Settings > About phone > System update and install any available update.
Update Google Play services. After updating your phone's software, follow these steps (link: https://www.mi.com/global/support/faq/details/KA-510158/) to update Play Services.
Restart your phone. If you still see an error after updating, restart your device. This resolves a known issue in which a background service must be reset before the fix takes effect.
If you've completed all three steps and still can't log in, contact Strava Support.
Note that "Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO login issues" is meant as an H3 and "How to fix it" as an H4, and Settings, About phone, and System update are meant to be bolded; none of that formatting carries over in plain text, so you'll want to reapply it once this is in Intercom.
