Language in the Strava App, Emails, and Push Notifications
Whenever possible, the Strava mobile app will be displayed in the same language as your phone's system language. So, if your phone is set to use French, the Strava app will do the same. You can adjust the language setting for individual apps from your phone's system settings.
On Android
Open the Settings App on your device, then tap System.
Select Language & Region.
Use the Preferred Language section to add or edit your preferred languages. The System Language at the top of the list will be the language Strava uses.
On iOS
Open the Settings App on your device, then tap General.
Tap Language & Region.
Use the Preferred Languages section to add or adjust your preferred languages. The iPhone/iPad Language at the top of the list will be the language Strava uses.
For all languages not listed above, the Strava app will continue to be displayed either in English or in the language you have most recently used that Strava does support.
Language on the Strava Website
On the Strava website, you can select from our list of supported languages from the drop-down menu on the bottom right-hand corner of any page.
Troubleshooting Language Settings
If your Strava app isn't displaying a language that matches your phone's system language, please uninstall and reinstall the Strava app, then restart your device.
If your activities are titled in the wrong language, check that the language set on your phone or web browser is correct. Changes made should sync to your Strava account shortly.
