Redeeming a Gifted Subscription

Strava now offers gift subscriptions, allowing you to purchase a year’s worth of premium features for your family members or friends. You can buy an annual gift subscription from the Strava website, with a limit of one per purchase.

Redeeming a Gift

If someone purchases a Strava subscription for you, you will receive an email with a unique redemption link. Follow the instructions in the email to redeem your gift. If you are already a subscriber through the Strava website, you can still redeem your gifted subscription. However, if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you will need to cancel your subscription and wait for it to expire before redeeming the gifted subscription.

If you have an active subscription purchased through the Strava website, redeeming the gift subscription will extend your feature access and renewal date by one year. Your subscription will renew as normal at the end of the year extension.

When your mobile subscription has expired, you can redeem the gift by following the instructions or the redemption link from the Gift email. At the end of the year extension, you will need to re-subscribe.
