Managing your Metro and Heatmaps Privacy Controls

  • On the web, go to your Settings page by hovering over your profile picture in the top right and selecting 'Settings.'
    • Click on the 'Privacy Controls' tab on the left side of the page and scroll down to 'Metro and Heatmap.'
    • Select or deselect 'Include my activities on Metro and Heatmap.'
  • On Android, select 'Settings' from the navigation menu and select 'Privacy Controls' on the next page.
    • Select 'Metro and Heatmap.'
    • Select or deselect 'Include my activities on Metro and Heatmap'
  • On iOS, select 'More' on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen and select 'Privacy Controls' on the next screen.
    • Select 'Metro and Heatmap.'
    • Select or deselect 'Include my activities on Metro and Heatmap.' 

How it Works

  • When you enable the toggle to 'Include my activities on Metro and Heatmap':
    • Anyone on the web:
      • Will see heat on the Heatmap to which you contributed.
    • No one:
      • Will see heat from activities that you’ve made 'Only You.'
      • Will see heat from portions of your activity that began or ended in your privacy zone.
  • When you disable the toggle to 'Include my activities on Metro and Heatmap':
    • No one:
      • Will see heat from activities you’ve uploaded, regardless of whether the activity is public/private.
