Troubleshooting for Strava and Runna Subscription

If you are not seeing the option to upgrade to the Strava + Runna subscription, please try the troubleshooting steps below.

If you are trying to make the purchase through Strava’s mobile app

Check that your existing Runna subscription or trial has been canceled. If you are on the latest app version and your Runna subscription has been canceled, please try force-closing both the Strava and Runna apps.

If you have already connected your Strava and Runna accounts, you can also try refreshing this connection.

  1. Open the Runna app on your phone and navigate to your Runna profile.
  2. Tap on "Connected Apps & Devices," then select Strava.
  3. Tap Disconnect Strava, then Switch Off.
  4. Select Strava, then Sync with Strava.
  5. Authorize Runna to connect to Strava.

Make sure that you have the correct Strava and Runna accounts connected. If you think that you may have accidentally connected a duplicate account, please contact Strava Support.

If your Strava subscription was activated with a promo code, you won’t be able to crossgrade to the bundle until your current subscription is canceled and you're back to free.

If you are an existing Runna subscriber

Ensure that your existing Runna subscription or trial has been canceled. You will not see the option to upgrade to a Strava + Runna subscription if you have an active Runna subscription or trial. This subscription guide provides steps depending on your current Runna subscription type.

If you have an existing Runna subscription and you would like to switch to the Strava + Runna bundle, you will not be able to claim a partial refund or credit for any remaining time on your Runna subscription. You can either cancel your Runna subscription, wait for it to expire, and then upgrade to the bundle, or upgrade now and forfeit any remaining time.

If you are an existing Strava subscriber

If you're an existing subscriber through the Strava website, please verify that your current Strava subscription is active. If your subscription is currently canceled, you will first need to click the "Resubscribe Now" button on your Account page before you can switch to a different subscription.

Clicking this button will only re-activate your existing subscription; you will not be charged.

Ensure that your existing Strava subscription has active billing information. If you do not have billing info on file, you will not see the option for an upgrade.
