Strava allows you to automatically sync your Carv ski activities to your Strava account, so you can view your ski data alongside your other activities.
How to Connect Strava
- Navigate to the More tab in the Carv app.
- Select Strava from the list of available integrations.
- You'll be redirected to Strava to authorize access.
- Once authorized, return to Carv and toggle Auto-upload to Strava on.
Auto-upload does not apply retroactively. Activities will only be uploaded to Strava if the toggle is enabled when the activity is saved.
What Data Will Sync
When you connect Carv to Strava, the following data will sync to your Strava account:
- Activity metadata such as time, distance, and duration
- GPS location data
- Ski:IQ and other Carv-specific metrics
FAQs
Why aren't my activities syncing with Strava?
First, ensure the integration is still connected under More > Settings > Strava, and check that the activity is visible on your Carv home page. If both look correct, allow some time for syncing — delays of several minutes can occur.
I connected the wrong Strava account. How do I change it?
To switch accounts, disconnect the Strava integration from More > Settings > Strava, then reconnect and authorize the correct Strava account.
How do I stop syncing activities?
You can turn off auto-upload at any time from More > Settings > Strava, or fully disconnect Strava from this menu. Once auto-upload is turned off or the integration is disconnected, no new activities will be synced.
