3D Layer on Strava Maps

3D Maps make it easier to visualize the elevation changes and topography of a route, segment, or activity. Strava subscribers can enable a 3D layer on any dynamic map in the Strava mobile app. The maps on the record screen, the Maps tab (including routes and segment suggestions), and friends’ activities can all be viewed in 3D.

Toggle the 3D icon towards the bottom right to enable the map layer, or use two fingers to pinch into 3D. To return to a 2D map, toggle the 2D icon from the same spot. image1.jpg

We recommend using the Satellite or Hybrid views, which you can change through the Map Settings icon on the right side of the map.
