Strava will display the start point location of GPS-based activities below your name in both the feed and on the activity details page. The location information is sourced from OpenStreetMap. You can learn more about how Strava uses OpenStreetMaps and how to submit changes to OpenStreetMaps here.

- If you are within the same country the activity was recorded in, you will see the city and state. If you are outside of the country the activity was recorded in, you will see the city/region and country.
- If you have set your map visibility controls to completely hide your map, the activity location will only be visible to you.
