Post stories, questions, gear tips, race reports, recommendations, workouts, and other kinds of content in addition to activity uploads in your Strava feed.
Sharing Content
Share activities, events, and routes directly to your followers as a post by tapping the share icon and selecting the club you wish to post to. On the next screen, you'll have the option to add a title and description before publishing.
Creating a New Post
Select the plus sign icon on the website or in the mobile app to reveal the option to create a new post.
Write your post on the next screen. In the mobile app, select the icon in the lower-right corner to add a title.
Upload photos from your computer by dragging the file into the photo field, or click to upload. Add photos from your phone's camera roll by selecting the icon in the lower right.
You can add captions to your images and choose a highlight photo to represent your post in your followers' feeds.
You will have the option to Allow Comments on your post. On the web, check the box at the bottom right to allow comments; on mobile, check the box at the bottom left. Comments are allowed by default until you turn them off. Turning off comments does not remove previous ones; it only hides them.
The Publish button becomes available once you complete the required text field.
To edit or delete a previously created post, look for the Posts tab on your profile page on the Strava website and mobile app. Select the post you wish to edit or delete, then select the three-dot icon.
Post Privacy
Athlete posts adopt an account's Profile Page privacy control. It is not possible to manually adjust an individual post's privacy control.
Profile Page privacy control set to Everyone: all athlete posts on your Strava account are publicly visible, including when you are logged out of Strava.
Profile Page privacy control set to Followers: all of your athlete posts on Strava are visible only to your followers. Your posts are not visible when you are logged out.
Reporting a Post
Open the post you wish to report and select the three-dot icon in the upper right corner to reveal the report option. Confirm that you would like to report the post and choose your reason for reporting it.
