Strava has created a new progress summary chart so athletes can better track their activity data over time. You can view the chart via the Strava app at the top of the "Progress" section on the "You" tab. The progress chart allows you to see key metrics and totals for a specific sport or the combined efforts of several sport types across several time ranges.
How it Works
-
- Select a specific sport type to report on.
- The progress chart displays your totals for distance, time, elevation, or activity count data.
-
- Activities with GPS will show distance and elevation data, and indoor activities will show time.
-
- To further compare your efforts on your progress chart, select "See more of your progress." From here, you can choose to view your activities' progress over various time frames
-
- 1W: 7 days
- 1M: 30 days
- 3M: 12 weeks
- 6M: 24 weeks
- YTD: Year-to-date
- 1Y: 52 weeks
- Tap the chart to drill into a specific week and see the list of activities that generated your data.
-
- Tap through the list to see the Activity Detail Page of any activity
-
-
Select Compare Date Range to compare your current data against historical date ranges.

FAQs
Why am I only seeing one sport type to choose from?
The progress summary will exclusively feature sport types recorded within the past 52 weeks. For example, if only running activities were recorded last year, then only the "run" sport type will be displayed on the chart.
