Connecting Strava to Facebook and Google

You can connect your Strava account to both your Facebook and Google accounts in order to find contacts on Strava, share activities, and more. If you created your Strava using either Facebook or Google, this connection will have already been made. You can create or manage these connections from your settings page on the Strava website.

  • Hover over your profile page in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • Look for "Social Connections" on the right-hand side of the page. Select the option to Connect to Facebook or Connect to Google.
  • Follow the prompts to log into your account and authorize the connection.

To disconnect your Strava from Google or Facebook you must log into your account on the Strava website.

  • Hover over your profile page in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  • Look for "Social Connections" on the right-hand side of the page. Select the option to Disconnect next to the Facebook or Google icon.
  • You'll know you have successfully disconnected when you see the option to connect rather than the name on your Facebook or Google account.

More detail about how we use the information you and other athletes send us about your connections can be found here.
